The intensive humidifier mod. BI-MIX is an innovative machine
which improves the method of water absorption in the grain, making it faster and more homogeneous, providing better conditioning of the grain itself and a reduction in resting times.
The intensive humidifier mod. BI-MIX intensive humidifier treats the grain intensively before conditioning. BI-MIX has a polygonal shape and is made of stainless steel. It consists of two parts: the first with an intensive vane screw to achieve a pre-soaking effect and advance the grain, and the second with an expansion chamber in which a rotor with two different types of beaters operates.
The action of the first section of beaters is to advance the grain, while the action of the second section, on the other hand, develops a counter-flow effect. This produces intensive mixing between the grains, but above all generates a homogeneous distribution of water around the grain. The two types of beaters are adjustable to vary the intensity and humidification effect.
The BI-MIX’s loading rate can be adjusted by varying the grain discharge valve positioned at the top of the humidification chamber. The machine is equipped with a total emptying system, avoiding any possibility of contamination.
The design concept of the intensive humidifier mod. BI-MIX has made it possible to achieve a perfect grain/water mix, penetration of the water and its homogeneous absorption into the grain, and consistent savings in conditioning time in the resting silos.
