The POND Electronic Flow Scale was projected for the weighing of free flowing products and it can also be applied to control the processes or yields of a plant. Its especial structure enables and reduces drastically to the minimum level maintenance procedures. Due to its round shape studied to ensure the maximum product flow, it provides the hygienization of the components, facilitating cleaning and preventing the retention of contaminants.
The machine is endowed with a gravity feeder with electropneumatic gate valve to regulate the product flow. Below the feeder, the weighing container is suspended by a 3-load cells system that guarantees a high stability level of weighing cycle. Once reached the pre-selected capacity, the gate valve of the feeder shuts off, the weight is saved and the semi-butterfly valve of the container opens up and allows the unloading of the product.
