The MHD horizontal mixer is the most advanced machine for the production of livestock feed, thanks in particular to the following features:
1) Homogeneity in the mixture, whether with the addition of liquid ingredients or with products of different specific weights;
2) High production with mixing times not exceeding 5/6 minutes;
3) Rapid emptying;
4) Simple maintenance.
The MHD horizontal mixer is built entirely in thick steel with a lid divided into sectors to facilitate internal inspection. The double spiral agitators with vanes of different diameters and in opposite directions impart to the products, in addition to a continuous rotary forward movement, a central movement contrary to the advance of the external mass. This achieves an optimal mixing of the ingredients. All movements are mounted on ball bearings.
The horizontal mixer has a bottom that opens along its entire length to allow rapid discharge of the product. The machine is equipped with two gear motors and a relative transmission.
