Pellet Square Cooler – RQR

The Square Pellet Cooler is used to cool the product, allowing for a reduction in space and therefore even applicable to existing installations.

This equipment has low energy consumption, simple and versatile adjustable control of the length of time the product remains inside, as well as a continuous flow of cooled product. The extremely simple construction requires minimal periodic maintenance.

The cooler consists of a product accumulation chamber and a special emptying system, made up of a fixed part and a movable part, driven by an electro-pneumatic device, which allows the machine to discharge the product through defined openings for correct product flow.

The product accumulation chamber is kept depressed by means of a suction system, which must be connected to the top of the equipment. The external air flow is captured directly through the holes below the discharge system.

Two capacitive sensors are mounted on the side of the product accumulation chamber to control and regulate the amount of pellet accumulated. In this way, by monitoring the product level, the discharge system can be set back, and the maximum safety level can set back the pelletizer’s feed system.
