The Mill model PFS is a machine especially developed for milling cereals and its derivatives, endowed with a feeding roll, with a variable speed that has as function to distribute uniformly the product, over all the surface of the milling cylinders, always keeping a suitable thickness of the product layers.
Its metallic enclosure consists of an extremely robust basis and a superior structure support of the milling rolls which are made of especial cast iron with a surface treatment, measuring 600 mm of diameter and 1000mm or 1300mm length, longitudinally disposed in relation to the apparatus.
One of the cylinders is fixed and mounted on properly dimensioned bearings, with rolls self-aligning ball bearings. The other cylinder is fixed on movable bearings that allow mobile bearings both the approach and retraction from the rolls as well the adjustment of the distance between themselves, carried out through micrometric screws.
The coupling and uncoupling of the milling rolls are carried out through the oil dynamic cylinders driven by a pneumohydraulic central. These operations are commanded through the control panel installed in the machine, where one can inclusively see the work data like feeder speed, consumed power in each driving motor of milling rolls, among others.
The milling rolls are likely to heating and cooling.
