The PRIME Roller Mill derives from the implementation and upgrading of the most advanced concepts within food technology. It incorporates modern design principles that allow for high productivity while complying with the most rigorous hygiene and safety international standards.
A feeding structure, made of stainless steel and endowed with round interior corners, decreases the product contamination risk, eliminating retentions of product, while its wide lucid acrylic display, easy to disassemble, simplifies the continual inspection of the entrance of product, as well as the cleaning of the structure itself.
The feeding set is fully movable, allowing total and easy access to all its stainless-steel surfaces, guaranteeing a simple and perfect cleaning of the equipment. For the same purpose, all product run-off surfaces were carefully designed and constructed of stainless steel, eliminating areas of product retention or difficult access.
Inside the feeding structure are installed the product level continuous control sensors that, interconnected to the management system of the PRIME Roller Mill, provide automatic feed adjustment by varying the speed of the feed rolls.
The interface with the equipment is held through a 7″ color touch screen panel located at both sides of the equipment. The operator can view the machine status, release the pneumatic locks of the access doors, as well as its alarms systems and interact directly with the programming of process and control parameters like: power consumption [%], product level [%], feeding speed [%], among others.
In the menu “maintenance” it will be possible to visualize separately the machine historic trends as well as all data related to its own preventive maintenance. Control and command data of each machine are transmitted via the network to the plant’s central automation system, thus reducing installation and maintenance costs, as well as providing centralized control of the group of installed machines.
A sturdy and properly dimensioned structure grants a stable and silent performance, composing with the other subsystems an ergonomic and long-lived machine. In addition, the front is fully foldable and has removable bearings along with the rolls without causing any interference on the distance adjustment system between the rolls allowing thus a quick and easy maintenance.
All stemming from the same concern, where only materials and components of recognized suppliers are used, as well as consolidated solutions of ergonomics and safety.
The machine can be supplied with pairs of rolls with diameters of 250mm or 300mm.
