The Continuous Mixer SML series mixers represent an efficient solution for continuous mixture in modern milling industry. This machine has been to provide an effective mixing of ingredients of various types, whether they are wet or dry, powdered or granular mixtures. It was developed to provide a perfect homogenization allied to low energy cost.
The mixer consists of a steel case within which rotates a stirring blade with different assembly angles adjusted for each specific use, resulting thus in higher yield. The rotor is provided with two sets of blades, one responsible for the product feed and the other for the return, together creating an inner flow, which ensures high degree of mixing. The shaft is mounted directly on tapered roller bearings, driven by a gear motor coupled directly about this. Allied to the configuration of the blades, a pair of product sluice gates controls the degree of filling, the product permanence time inside the machine and the result of the process.
The geometry of the machine was developed to facilitate emptying and cleaning operations. In this context, four large side doors provide full access to all internal surfaces of the machine, making cleaning easier. Its rounded structure and a detailed study prevent the existence of regions that enable the accumulation of elements inside the machine and consequently product contamination.
Continuous Mixer SML is made of plates and steel profiles amply dimensioned to provide at the same time operation easiness and long-life cycle. Its project was simplified, using a reduced number of components, allied to easy access to all of its internal parts, significantly reducing downtime for inspection, cleaning and maintenance, in the same way reducing the storage of spare parts. All allied to the introduction of components readily available and recognized quality, what in turn attribute the Mixing machines SML a very low maintenance cost when compared to traditional types available in the market.
