The Drum Separator is a machine used for the pre-cleaning of grains, separating the grains from large dimension foreign materials and impurities like: large stones, paper, iron, etc. The machine consists of a sturdy metallic box with a metallic mesh cylinder. The rotation of the cylinder is carried out by a gearmotor.
The product is fed through the superior inlet of the machine and canalized towards the central part of the spinning cylinder. The conic shape and the rotation of the cylinder ensures the separation of the impurities, which are directed to the proper outlet. A connection pipe is located on the upper side of the machine, for connection of the equipment with the aspiration system.
