Developed for dosing fats in solid or paste form, as well as other very high viscosity products, Sangati Berga’s DGS dosing machine features high dosing precision thanks to the application of high-resolution load cells in the measurement by weight decrement. The entire body of the machine, including its reservoir, motors and pump, is supported by load cells that continuously monitor the weight variation of the assembly. The variation in the signal sent by the load cells varies the rotation of the doser’s coils and pump, controlling the flow of fat being dosed and interrupting dosing when the predetermined value is reached.
The fat blocks are inserted into the machine without the need for any prior grinding, which are crushed by a set of internal spirals and pumped through a high-capacity pump at flow rates of tens of kilos per minute.
Optical sensors at the inlet and outlet of the feeder conveyor automatically control the entry of product into the dosing hopper, ensuring that feeding always takes place at the right time without interfering with the dosing process.
The DGS Solid Fat Dispenser is mainly made of thick stainless steel sheets, giving the equipment high durability and strength. Its components are carefully dimensioned using CAD/CAE tools and the latest engineering techniques in order to result in a machine with a long service life and minimal downtime for repairs. The DGS feeder has a reduced number of components, all from recognized manufacturers with a wide presence on the market, which reduces maintenance and spare parts costs.
