The greater “healthiness” requirements demanded by our customers in mill installations has allowed our research center to develop a particular machine for treating the humidified grain before it is rested.
In the cleaning diagram, this machine is inserted after the intensive humidification of the first and second baths, before the grain is sent to the resting bins.
As soon as the grain has been moistened, it is rubbed against itself, against the rotor’s agitator blades and against the mantle. This particular action allows up to 3% of the outer, impermeable cuticle to be removed from the wheat grain.
The intensity of the abrasion is achieved by means of a brake valve located at the machine’s outlet.
An absolute novelty for this type of polisher is the removal of the humidified cuticle, which is mixed directly with the rest of the mass of by-products coming from the mill or cleaning, using air at high suction pressure.
The polisher mantle is kept constantly clean by blowing high-pressure air through the rotor shaft.
An optional thermal battery reduces the humidity of the waste product if necessary.
Advantages:
Perfect cleaning of the grain;
Drastic reduction in the bacterial load present;
Reduction of resting time by around 20% if integrated into our traditional cleaning with humidifier screw,
Possibility of insertion as a combined machine with an intensive humidifier or as a separate machine.
