This machine has been designed to obtain maximum performance when degerminating corn with a fat content of less than 1%. The particular construction of the cast iron rotor, the abrasive plates and the combination of suction and insufflation air makes it possible to obtain 20% coarse fraction (hominy), 35% medium fraction and 15% fine fraction.
The use of this machine significantly simplifies the grinding diagram. Only with the insertion of this degerminator does the use of densimetric tables become unnecessary, since the germ is completely extracted just by passing the cereal through the machine and mixing it directly with the zootechnical flour and bran.
